Description

It was several "small," respectable sins - subtle manifestations of unbelief - that kept the children of Israel out of the promised land. Those same easily hidden sins of murmuring, pride, jealousy, spiritual depression, impatience, and so on, will also keep us out of the spiritual rest that is God's provision for all His believing children. Though we gloss over them and explain them away to ourselves and other people, they will prove an insuperable barrier to our entry into our spiritual Canaan. What is the remedy? Find out by reading this booklet.

Anything by Patricia St. John is gold. She gets to the root of spiritual matters, bringing a word that will both challenge and strengthen the heart of anyone who wants to follow Jesus. The opening quote by John Wesley is worth the cost of the book: "From long experience and observation I am inclined to think that whoever finds redemption in the blood of Jesus has the choice of walking in the higher or lower path . . ." I bought several copies of this booklet to give to others. I highly recommend it.
