Marie Monsen (1878-1962) was a Spirit-filled Norwegian missionary to North and Central China for a period of thirty years, during which time she was used by God in revival, accounts of which can be read in her other book, The Awakening. This revival was the precursor to the great revival of the underground church recorded by Brother Yun in The Heavenly Man.
Kingsley Press has been licensed to re-publish Miss Monsen’s amazing book, A Present Help. Here you will read amazing stories of God’s protection as she traveled around China, often through bandit-ridden territory, and experienced the preserving power of God’s angel hosts.
